Most of what is sold as 'modern organic' on Amazon is not. The shortcuts are easy to spot — shiny finishes, synthetic linen, faux travertine printed on resin. The exceptions are worth knowing.
We look for three things: a natural fiber or honest stone, a silhouette that already lives in our favorite designers' rooms, and a price that makes sense for the material.
