Foundation — Architecture Before Decoration
A timeless kitchen begins long before a single accessory is chosen. It begins with generous negative space, honest cabinetry, quiet proportions, and the soft curve of a plaster range hood set against a wall of natural wood. When the architecture is right, the room needs almost nothing to feel complete. Cabinetry recedes rather than performs. A run of countertop is allowed to remain unbroken. The eye finds a place to rest. Decoration can never repair a room whose bones were never considered.
